Biography: Moises the Person, Moises the Artist At (4) years of age Moises began singing. He was born in Tijuana Baja California, and because of his love for music, it has taken him on a journey around the country, and twenty years later he’s still on the same path. His dedication to writing, and his vocal ability has prepared him for a time such as this. Among those who have inspired Moises are Mozart and Billy Joel to name a few. His father Juan De Dios Quinozes and Mother Manuelita Rincon has been from the beginning his greatest supporters, and his brother is one of his best friends. Although his parents wanted him to become an engineer or lawyer, they encouraged him to leave home at an early age to follow is dream as a solo artist in Mexico City that lasted for five years. Moises has always been intrigued with various cultures and international food, which has influenced his flare and taste for music. The water is a place where he goes to meditate, and it denotes his favorite color blue. Among his hobbies are reading, writing, chess, and he appreciate a good game of soccer. His ultimate goal is to establish the highest standard in Latin Music. Moises envision himself as an innovator and pioneer. His lyrics are thought provoking, and, as a vocalist he elevates and inspires his audience. He continues to prefect his gifts and talents as writer, actor and producer. From the beginning, Moises love and dedication to and for music (especially classical) has driven him to developed his vocal skills and song writing at some noted learning institutions such as: Education: Independencia College- Catholic Elementary School Prepatory School (El Chamijal) Federal No 1 Jr. High School Colegio- Indepencia-College Additional Educational Studies Opera at the University of Texas (El Paso) Opera at the University of Dallas (Dallas, Texas) Opera at the University of (Albuquerque, New Mexico) Opera at the University of Oklahoma In addition, he has studied Network Television, and has taken acting; dance (Jazz & Ballet) Awards; Experience, and Work 1988 Academy Music Recital (Juarez Chiluahua) 1989-1990 State of Cheheualua, Singing contest (one of 20) Channel 24 (Juarez Mexico) for Music Support Juarez singing contests (1st place in City and State of Mexico) National Broadcast Television contest of 10,000 contestants Moises was one of 20 selected Chihuaha Mexico Mall Beauty Contest - Moises was the presenter for several showcase 1991 Musicals in El Paso, Texas Moises was one of 50 among dancer and singers Producer Sergio Andrade Moises worked with him for (3) years and during that time, Andrade and he produced his 1st album entitled “Ino cente” Carlos Vargas writer 1992-1995 Moises dedicated all of these years to become the solo artist that he is today, and during this time he wrote 25-30 Jingles for radio spot in Mexico City 1996-1997 Studied Acting-Mexico City Central De Educación Artistica Televisa 1997 Married El Paso, Texas 2000 Moises met Howard Mac who agreed to produce (2) songs for him, but Howard's schedule did not permit him to do so 2002 Moises met Whitney Arceneaux III, manager while performing at the “Platinum Live”. Press Release: By Videogrpaher  Foster Johnson LOS ANGELES  When I was first introduced to Moises Quiñones, in August of 2004, I was slightly "taken aback" by his seemingly quiet demeanor and somewhat introspective mood. I could not imagine this gentleman as a robust entertainer with vocal dimensions influenced by Elvis. As rehearsal began for a live performance of his album called "Sonata a el amor" I abruptly realized how mistaken I was. Upon taking the microphone, surveying the ensemble behind him and launching into the song "Esta vida la vivo por ella", Moises Quiñones proved to be a dynamic vocalist with the professional stage presence of a veteran balladeer. As we began the live shoot, I realized that Quiñones' vocal depth and his command of it, are not only impressive in their technical capacity but also remarkable due to the elegance of his delivery. Initially I paused for a moment in surprise before returning quickly to my task of capturing the first song and the seven others on camera. Mastering the tracks and building the resulting DVD was not only a great opportunity to tune my music video skills, but a great opportunity to observe a true talent at work and subsequently to become an enthusiastic fan of Quiñones and especially his work on the album "Sonata a el amor". Mosies' manager, Whitney Arceneuax III approached me (from a contact of a mutual business acquaintance) to shoot the "showcase" and later to edit and develop a customizable DVD for distribution within the production circles he encountered on a daily basis. The venue was a large sound stage in North Hollywood, and the members of the ensemble were also highly talented and of course, professional as well. All songs were written by Moises Quiñones and Stephen Francis, with the exception of "Sonata a el amor" which is credited to Johny Rodgers. Arceneaux also co wrote "Bella de mis sueños" with Francis and Quiñones. Interestingly enough, for such a young artist (in his early twenties), Quiñones has a broad background as a vocalist with origins in Tijuana, Baja California. Arceneaux and ABF productions provided the following background information for inclusion in the text portions of the DVD inserts.
